Date A Live is a fantasy harem anime series adapted from the light novel series of the same name, written by Koshi Tachibana and illustrated by Tsunako.
Synopsis: The Eurasian continent was destroyed by a mysterious phenomenon known as the spatial quake. These spatial quakes are vibrations that originate in space from an unknown source killing 150 million people after the first occurrence. Even after thirty years, earthquakes continue to occur, albeit smaller. One day, a spatial quake occurs in Tengu City. Concerned for his sister, Shidou Itsuka, a high schooler, rushes to save her but gets caught in the quake.
After being caught in the disaster, Shidou discovers the source of the quakes, which turns out to be a mysterious girl known as Spirit. He soon finds himself amid a battle between the anti-spatial force and the Spirit. He also learns about Ratatoskr, which Kotori, his sister, runs. Kotori then recruits Shidou to deal with these Spirits, requiring Shidou to make a Spirit fall in love with him. Shidou now must date the spirit girls to save the world from the next major spatial quake.
