Aa! Megami-sama! (Ah! My Goddess) Watch Order Guide

Aa! Megami-sama! (Ah! My Goddess) is an innocent romantic comedy anime that doesn’t succumb to fanservice to get the viewer’s attention. But sadly, it focuses way too much on the comedy aspect, and the romance development between the main characters is awfully slow. Then there are slight hints of a harem, which, thankfully, don’t fruit but are still annoying.

If you are looking for a straight-up love story between an average character and a literal goddess, you would need to invest a lot of time watching Aa! Megami-sama!, because it’s there but is stretched between seasons. Luckily the show is incredibly entertaining with its slice-of-life storytelling and comedy bits, so it doesn’t feel like a drag to watch.
