Love Live! is a slice-of-life anime series adapted from a popular franchise of the same name, developed by ASCII Media Works as a multimedia project.
Synopsis: After seeing lower and lower students enrolling at Otonokizaka High School every year, the school has decided to shut its door and close down in three years. Second-year student Honoka Kousaka doesn’t want her school to shut down and decided to find a solution. She finals down on forming a school idol group with her childhood friends to bring attention to her school.
Honoka’s best shot with her idol project is to win the Love Live, a competition that determines the best school idol groups in Japan. But not everyone is down with the idea, especially student council president Eri Ayase and Honoka is having a hard time finding additional members for the group. Still, with the competition’s date approaching fast, Honoka must move quickly and prepare the best music and performance to save her school.
