Yuru Yuri is a “cute girls doing cute things” anime that uses the same mold often used in other all-girls slice-of-life anime, where a bunch of girls spends their time in a club doing mundane activities. But in the case of Yuru Yuri, the simple everyday activities involve a “little bit” of lesbian jokes. Considering the anime’s title has “Yuri” in it, it doesn’t go without saying there are loads of moments with Shoujo Ai, aka Girl’s Love, in this anime.
To some degree, every character in Yuru Yuri questions their sexual orientation by wanting to do various things to the same sex. But Yuru Yuri is not full-blown hanime. It’s more of a comedy anime that makes girl x girl love innuendo. Yuru Yuri also doesn’t have much of a plot similar to other slice-of-life anime. It’s an anime to enjoy without thinking too hard. If you’re looking for a barrel of laughs with plenty of Shoujo Ai, Yuru Yuri is your best bet.

Yuru Yuri is a comedy slice of life anime series adapted from the manga series of the same name written and illustrated by Namori.
Synopsis: At her new all-girls middle school, Akari Akaza reunited with her childhood friends, Yui Funami and Kyouko Toshinou. Yui and Kyouko have been occupying the Tea Club and have turned it into an Amusement Club to entertain themselves there. Akari also joins them and soon follows Akari’s classmate Chinatsu Yoshikawa. Now the four girls have the club to themselves. With no clear purpose for the club, they often spend their time doing random fun activities.
