It’s not very often you come across a harem series like To Love-Ru, that is not only funny and has a ton of ecchi but also has a good filler and introduction to characters. But the show being a typical anime in the harem genre, there are lots of great moments and some very frustrating ones. As always you get an MC that can be pretty annoying and female characters with different archetypes who are all very charming and attractive that you can’t help but get charmed by them.
Despite all that, To LOVE-Ru falls short in the other area where many of its predecessors also failed: story. It had the potential to be much more, but as you go through several episodes, you can see where it ends up. As a whole, To LOVE-Ru has some good points and some bad points. The character’s ecchi escapades and the humorous situations surrounding them make it worth watching, but if you want a more well-rounded story, this is not the anime for you.

To LOVE-Ru is a comedy harem anime series adapted from the manga of the same name written by Saki Hasemi and illustrated by Kentaro Yabuki.
Synopsis: Rito Yuki is a shy and clumsy high-school student who cannot confess his love to Haruna Sairenji, his childhood friend. One day, while taking a bath, a mysterious, naked girl appears out of nowhere in his bathtub. The mysterious girl introduced herself as Lala Satalin Deviluke, crown princess of the planet Deviluke
Rito later discovers that she has arrived on earth, escaping from her home planet Deviluke, as her father wants her to marry one of the marriage candidates he chooses. She decides that she wants to marry Rito to stay on earth and avoid an unwanted political marriage. Thus began Rito’s daily life with all sorts of bizarre chaos with the arrival of Lala.
