The number one reason you should watch Shakugan no Shana is that the main character has an adorable tsundere personality. But if you are not a fan of -dere archetypes, don’t worry. Shakugan no Shana also has many other things to offer, like a promising plot, likable characters, a grim but light story theme, action, and last but not least, romance.
The animation is not the best but good enough; however, it takes a huge jump in quality during action scenes and makes it so pleasurable to watch. The story has a good amount of drama and suspense with comedy. But romance and action are the show’s selling points, and it is a must-watch if you are a fan of the action-romance combo genre.
