Haiyore! Nyaruko-san Watch Order Guide

Haiyore! Nyaruko-san is the embodiment of a plot-less anime. It doesn’t also have any romance or drama. It’s just random comedy anime that thrives on parody and references. The anime doesn’t take itself seriously, defusing tense situations into a joke by sometimes even breaking the fourth wall. Also, speaking of references, the anime unexpectedly borrows H. P. Lovecraft’s Cthulhu mythos by connecting it to the main female character’s origin.

As I said above, there is no developing plot in Haiyore! Nyaruko-san. It’s basically a parody of the shonen battle formula with meaningless fights that always end in something comedic. Even its animation and art style feels like they are reused from other anime projects. The only thing this anime has is its comedy, which is a hit or miss among fans. But the show is a treat for someone who is into anime, games, and manga and loves countless references.
