Blue Exorcist (Ao no Exorcist) Watch Order Guide

Blue Exorcist is a supernatural, action anime series with standard good vs evil world premise while also featuring several Biblical elements and references. Blue Exorcist starts off very strong, with its intriguing and unusual concept of a demon choosing to destroy his kin by joining forces with the opposite side.

With the premise of journey setup, training arc, and conflict set up very early in the series, Blue Exorcist establishes an appealing balance of goofy satire and stark dark undertone, moving steadily without leaning too heavily into either. The engaging, action-packed setting stays true to the main plot making it a fantastic watch.
