Girls und Panzer is a military sports anime franchise created by Actas.

Synopsis: Girls und Panzer is set in a world where girls and women practice “Sensha-do,” or tankery, which is the art of fighting with tanks. Sensha-do sports are a type of traditional Japanese martial art aimed at women. Miho Nishizumi is a sensha-do professional from a prestigious family. Due to a tragic past, she decides to attend Orai Girl’s High School to get away from the sensha-do.

However, the student council coerces Miho into joining Sensha-do shortly after she arrives. She quickly discovers that there is no way to escape from the shame of her past, as her old school past has followed her to her new one. Now she must operate and battle against other tanking schools with various WWII tanks to keep her school from closing.
