Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu is a comedy anime series adapted from the light novel series of the same name written by Kenji Inoue with illustrations by Yui Haga.

Synopsis: Fumizuki Academy has very unique student system. Students in the academy are rigidly divided into classes based on their results in an entrance exam. Class A contains the highest-scoring students, while Class F contains the lowest-scoring students. With the best class given the best perks and equipment, the worst class has to live in harsh conditions with outdated supplies and worn-out furniture.

However, all is not lost for the F class, as the academy allows the lower scoring class to seize all the good perks through the school’s Examinations Summon Battle system. An all-out battle, where the participants can summon chibi characters of themselves with power levels equal to their test scores. And by defeating the highest-scoring class, the students can obtain the privilege of being in the best class.
